Astotin Lake Canoe Adventure, 5 hours
Explore the watery habitats of Elk Island National Park, a wilderness oasis just 40 minutes east of Edmonton. After basic instructions you glide quietly over Astotin Lake with it's many bays and islands and over 200 species of birds. This excursion is ideal for beginners, it includes transportation from Edmonton, 2-person canoes and interpretation. Allow 4 to 6 hours including the transportation.
River Canoe Adventures, 3 to 7 hours

See Edmonton from a different vantage point while enjoying a fun boat trip down the North Saskatchewan River. In many ways this ancient pathway remains as it was hundreds of years ago. The wide river valley with great picnic spots and home to beaver, deer, geese and other wildlife, changes to city parks and finally busy bridges and skyscrapers.
Evening North Saskatchewan River Trip
Fort Edmonton to Capilano Park: 3 to 4 hours
Emily Murphy Park to Capilano Park: 1.5 to 2 hours
Full Day North Saskatchewan River Trip
From Devon to Emily Murphy Park: 4 to 6 hours
These guided boat trips are organized on demand for your group or family and include basic canoe safety instruction, good quality canoes or kayaks (fibre glass or Royalex), life jackets and paddles, light refreshments and guide. Prices also include transportation from the take-out to the put-in of the canoe trip. For example a full-day trip includes transportation from the parking lot by the river in Emily Murphy Park to Devon.

per group of up to 13 paddlers and one guide $650.00
per group of up to 19 paddlers and one guide $850.00
per group of up to 36 paddlers and one guide $1300.00
Larger groups can be accommodated, transportation from your hotel, school or office as well as catered lunches, barbecues can be arranged.


GUIDED TRIPS FOR INDIVIDUALS, SCHEDULED DEPARTURES
5-Day Athabasca River Wilderness Trip
An action filled adventure starting Saturday morning in Edmonton with a 3-hour drive into the foothills for canoe instructions and training on a lake. Next day we launch the boats near the town of Hinton and from now on there is no looking back until we reach the end of the trip 160 kilometers and four days later. Beginners are welcome and will learn as they go while there are plenty of challenges for experienced paddlers. This is a wildernmess trip with three nights camping on islands in the river or secluded spots along the shores. We are back in Edmonton by late Wednesday afternoon.

Price includes all canoeing equipment, 2-person tents and all other necessary camping equipment, eating utensils, transportation, all meals, camping fees, instructions and guide.
Rental sleeping bags can be booked in advance, there is opportunity to buy last minute supplies before the start of the river trip.
