Paddle down the North Saskatchewan River from Devon to Edmonton. No paddling experience is necessary, you quickly learn to steer you canoe or single kayak and the current takes you downstream.
Sunday afternoons you can admire the Downtown Edmonton skyline while the current takes you on a 3 to 4 hour trip from Laurier Park to Capilano Park.
During Happy Hour on the River, on summer weekdays after work, you drift through the downtown river valley, take your mind off the job, watch the sunset over Edmonton.
New for 2018: Due to construction on the Groat Road Bridge in Emily Murphy Park we now start or end all our canoe trips in Sir Wilfrid Laurier Park by the Edmonton River Valley Zoo.
Pick a summer weekend day on the water, or a fun Sunday afternoon, or an evening canoe or kayak trip during the week.
If we have to cancel a trip due to high wind or high water, we will contact you in advance and you will receive a full refund.
If you have to cancel your booking you receive a full refund if you cancel a SATURDAY trip before 6:00 pm on the Wednesday before, or a SUNDAY trip by 6:00 pm on the Thursday before.
On Saturdays and Sundays you can bring your own private canoe or kayak and we shuttle you and your boat up the river. From there you follow the current back to your car.
