Weekday evenings (except Monday) paddle a 1-person kayak for two to three hour trip past the city scape from Laurier Park to Capilano Park. Meet at 5 pm in Capilano Park.
Happy Hour on the River
Unwind weekdays after work floating down the North Saskatchewan River on a summer evening in a kayak from Sir Wilfrid Laurier to Capilano Park, past the downtown Edmonton skyline, the Convention Center and several bridges.
Weekday evenings (except Monday) at 5 pm we meet you at Capilano Park at the foot of 50th Street on the south side of the river. Leave your car at the parking lot close to the boat launch and board our bus for the 30 minute drive to Laurier Park.
The fun begins when you launch your solo kayak and begin your journey down river back to Capilano Park.
Depending how fast the river is flowing and how much you want to paddle you can expect to be back at your car between 8 and 9 pm.
